Tithes & Offerings

What truth of God's Word it is — that both the gift and the giver share an equal role. A cheerful heart with the anticipation of the sense of blessing work together creating the offering that God most rewards. We have come to recognize the great joy of presenting both our lives and our resources as Kingdom gifts and the return is miracle story after miracle story. It's not about the amount. It's the passion of knowing that God alone opens each and every opportunity of plenty. It's all His anyway. And because of the Heavenly promise that encompasses the tithe and offering, as a church, we step out boldly in faith that each gift is directly from the hand of the Lord. It is our confidence that what we do is all about the One who has ordained our ministry.

We pray that the faithfulness of the Lord will be your inspiration in your dreams and plans as He multiplies all that you do for Him.

Shepherding

St. Alban’s Shepherding Committee, consisting of Susan Grande and Janice Windsor have been busy connecting newcomers with parishioners whom we feel have some things in common with each other. You probably have been contacted. We welcome any feedback; recommendations and especially time of anyone that may be interested, or feel they would enjoy making social contact with newcomers. Eventually “shepherds” may help the newcomers understand our mission to welcome and disciple each other.

I’ll keep talking about them – everyone is welcome to buy gift cards through St. Alban’s.  Friends, neighbors, yourself, everyone!  Proceeds go to our Building Fund Repayment program.  Minimum card purchase is $2.50, maximum is $500.  There is a minimum of $200 required for a total group order.  Both stores accept the cards at their gas pumps but you must pay at the kiosk for Safeway.  You can order cards on ANY Sunday and I will have them to you by the following Sunday, if not sooner.  Please place your check in the offering plate and mark the Memo Line – Safeway or King Soopers.  Orders are NOT tax deductible nor are they considered contributions to St. Alban’s.  If you go grocery shopping or fill up your car at either store, please consider buying gift cards and help support St. Alban’s Building Fund!  Thanks, Lainie, 412-9389,

Colorado Haiti Project

Many congregations throughout the diocese have agreed to participate in the capital campaign.  The ways in which the will participate varies from church to church, depending on the parish’s resources and other obligations.

Among the ways a church may choose to participate in the campaign are:

            1. Educate your church members about the situation in Haiti and the cork of the CHP by inviting a mission trip participant to speak to your congregation about their experiences in Haiti.

            2.  Identify a church representative to be a bridge person between your congregation and the campaign.

            3.  Make a pledge to this campaign to demonstrate 100% diocesan support of the campaign.

If you have any further questions about this project please see Deacon Janice or Fr. Rex.
